Committee of the Regions
The Governor of the Košice Self-governing region, Rastislav Trnka, became a member of the Committee of the Regions in October 2018. He is the member of two CoR commissions, COTER, the Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy and ENVE, the Commission for the Environment, Climate change and Energy.
The Slovak national delegation to the Committee of the Regions is composed of 9 members and 9 alternates out of which 5 representatives of the Association of Slovak Regions SK8, 4 representatives of the Association of Towns and Municipalities of Slovakia and the Union of Cities of Slovakia. Juraj Droba occupies the post of President of the Slovak National Delegation and Vice-President of the Committee of the Regions.
