The pilot project of mutual cooperation between the Košice Self-governing region and the JRC was the conference "Regions and Cities in the Context of Sustainable Energy and Climate Change", which took place in October 2019 within the project "Science meets Regions, Science meets Parliaments". Since then, the Košice Region Brussels Office has been actively cooperating with the JRC and ambitious cooperation is expected in the future as well. Future cooperation should consist of forthcoming projects with scientific and technical potential through independent evidence-based scientific advice.
